The Peter Leitch QSM Challenge Trophy is a rugby league challenge trophy that is contested when the New Zealand national rugby league team play a pacific island side. The trophy is named after Peter Leitch. ==History== On 15 October 2008 New Zealand Rugby League chairman Ray Haffenden announced that the Kiwis vs Tonga Test Match would be used to launch the Peter Leitch QSM Challenge Trophy. “Both trophies recognise the huge contribution these two men have made to the game,” he said. “We want to acknowledge the close affinity and involvement Peter has had with the Pacific Island and rugby league communities in New Zealand for many years. “The winner of the test will hold the Peter Leitch QSM Challenge Trophy and it’s our intention that it will be at stake in future internationals between the Kiwis and our Pacific neighbours.”〔(League: Kiwis and Tonga play for trophies ) ''odt.co.nz'', 16 October 2008〕 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Peter Leitch QSM Challenge Trophy」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
